I AM SHOL

What I notice a lot about people lately is how bad they want to be social media influencers. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be an influencer and seeing how much money is made from influencers on social media, but the reality is often jaded, in my opinion. I feel like most influencers were uploading posts and things for YEARS before they actually made it. Same thing for most other areas of fame, riches, etc. I think people want to blow up so fast that they forget that it takes so much time to actually perfect the craft. I suffer from wanting to get up and going fast too, but I’m learning all that causes is crash and burn… and that’s the last thing I ever want to do. Slow and steady wins the race.
