I AM SHOL

I need to be more serious about my work and the abilities that I have. I have noticed that many creatives and people of success take their work and what they do so serious, it seems comical to the outsider. I find that so fascinated because I understand the seriousness of one’s ability to create and to accomplish, but I also have an insecurity and fall short when people get to talking. I know my problem is listening to the chatter instead of just plowing through and ignoring it while continuing to work. I guess this acknowledgment helps see where I fall short and adjust, but still. It hurts knowing I can be a basic person instead of who I want to be.
