I can’t help to think this whole economical “collapse” is just a bigger push for the digital economy to begin with. We all progress right? We adapt to our environment. After shitVID we all adapted and some people are literally terrified of being out in nature and around other people because of the viddy. So combined with a bunch of remote work, more digital jobs created, crypto currencies booming, we have a clear view that these past few years of this “pandemic” felt like a real test of being self sufficient (I think?). At least I believe so, I’m starting to see it more and more. The news, social media, etc all of it is just negativity and fear being spread across all platforms so they can keep everyone at home nice and “safe”. You have mass shootings going on in schools, but I’m pretty sure their next big stunt would be a mass shooting at a workplace, (btw some guy committed suicide in the employee parking garage at The Bellagio and it never made the news). Then you can really keep more people at home and maneuver to a much more digitalized way of working. Which I would fucking HATE working from home cause I come home to relax, not to bring work home. Idk if I’m a bit of a conspiracy theorist myself, but some things are just very very convincing.
