I thought about creating a section of my past artwork that I worked on, but for some reason I feel like that isn’t necessary anymore. As time goes on I feel like those past ideas and creations do too, so if I just keep jumping back to the past to get ideas, I’m not looking forward to what I can create in/for the future. Maybe that’s just weird thinking idk, but it’s just how I currently feel about it.

Which now brings me to my second point about the “past”? Why do we focus on past decisions so much? Well, maybe I do, but I’ve noticed that some of us tend to bring up the past frequently. Is there a reasoning behind it? Or, are we just trying to relive a feeling? Who knows right? I think a majority of people tend to do it unconsciously. That’s scary though, in my opinion. Imagine having a programmed brain of constantly reliving old experiences, but never creating new ones? I think that’s the one thing that I’m for sure trying to change. Yes, I miss some of the things I’ve already done, but where am I trying to go and how am I going to get there? That’s been my true obsession lately. I focus so much on the future now that I kind of forget to live in the present. So, this post is really for those living in the past, telling you to live in the present, but also to think about the future and where you are headed. Don’t relive the past, change. Change is bad for some, but it’s always the best for YOU.
